Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie

I just made this for Thanksgiving and it was a hit! I was nervous about it being underdone from some of the comments so I cooked it the full 60 minutes and I think that ended up being a little too long for mine, but it was still delicious! I think the key with making sure it’s done all the way and not oily inside is letting it cool the full 30 minutes or more. I felt like mine was too oily when I first tested it with a knife, but it was fine after it cooled. Unbelievably delicious and easy to make. my family raved about it and are already begging me to make another one since that one was gone within the first 24 hours! We love it. Italian Christmas Cookies

These turned out great. I remember making them with my grandmother a few tiimes as a child. Just made these had about 48 total. Taste great wound you a bit more vinnala next time. Will make again for sure. These cookies are AMAZING!   These cookies are a staple in my house for every holiday and I adjust the extract accordingly. Halloween and Thanksgiving I use pumpkin extract in the cookies and vanilla in the icing, for Christmas, anise flavoring in the cookies and fresh lemon juice instead of water in the icing, and for Easter, orange or lemon extract in the cookies and fresh orange or lemon juice in the icing and tint the icing with spring pastel colors. I love white chocolate fudge and the addition of some cookies made it even better.  This recipe is so easy!  So easy in fact that there are only 3 ingredients – white chocolate chips, chocolate sandwich cookies and Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed milk!  Actually four – there is a little salt too. The fudge has amazing flavor and the texture is perfect – smooth.  Just what good fudge should be. I made these for our Thanksgiving gathering and everyone loved them!!! So very good!!! This is going to be my cookie swap cookie because it came out so good. It tastes exactly like an apple pie. They are perfect! I froze some to see if I could make them ahead and that worked too! They were easy to make in a large batch and my family LOVED them. One of the best desserts I’ve ever made!! Apple Pie Bread Pudding

Made this for a work Thanksgiving Potluck. Big hit. Actually put it together prior to leaving in a casserole crock pot and cooked it on high for 1 hour and 3 hours on low, Came out great!! Two of my favourite desserts combined! Brilliant! Wonderful warm apple treat, better than apple pie! Comforting bread pudding made with apple pie filling. Serve it hot and with some vanilla ice cream on top for the ultimate taste experience. No-Bake White Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecakes

Made these last night for friends, and they were a hit! I didn’t have a pastry bag, but they still tasted great. These are seriously so gorgeous! I love anything creamy made with the Wafer cookies, too! I love peppermint desserts, especially around the holidays so this would be a perfect dessert – the kids would love this. You can get creative with the garnish for this wonderful dessert as well!  We crushed up some extra chocolate cookies and candy canes and sprinkled the crumbs over the top of each cup.  Finish with a candy cane stick and a chocolate mint – and you’ve got a wonderfully festive dessert! Please be sure to use real peppermint extract in this recipe for the best results. Be careful NOT to buy mint extract which is usually a combination of peppermint and spearmint. Brown Sugar Crumble Apple Pie Filling

We will be topping our pie top with a delicious streusel that bakes up with a great brown sugar taste and subtle crunch. Another great thing about this recipe is it freezes great. Just wrap it tightly in plastic wrap (shown in the pic below) then tuck it in the freezer. When you go to bake it just pull it out and let it thaw completely and bake as normal. This recipe is enough filling for 2 pies. Slow Cooker Caramel Apple Crumble

Made this and it was but found it way to sweet the first time I made. Second time I made it I cut the sugar back by 1/2 a cup and added more oats. Much better second time around. Easy peasy recipe.  I cooked it with the lid on my Crock-Pot and it was really soupy. Took the lid off and cooked it another couple of hours and it was perfect. Loved this!! Everyone freaked out over it. Used the leftovers for breakfast by putting it over a fresh bowl of hot oatmeal. Might make another batch minus the oats for breakfast purposes again sometime. This is the best apple crumble ever. The aroma is delicious but the taste is incredible. This is the perfect way to welcome fall!! The most delicious fall dessert! Cookie Bars Recipe

I made these cookie bars and they turned out great! I used 1 cup of all purpose flour and one cup of white whole wheat flour. I used mini mms instead of chocolate chips. The whole pan was gobbled up in one night. Easy and delicious recipe. Oh my goodness these chocolate chip cookie bars are fabulous! These were perfect for the sweet tooth I was having! Quick and easy with hardly no mess. I didn’t have a the right pan but this worked in a rectangular one perfectly! Easy to make too. Kids can’t stop eating them.Great recipe! This one is a keeper in my recipe box! I was looking for a chocolate chip cooke to make tonight that wasn’t my usual (very involved) recipe and these were great! The only thing I will do differently next time is add more chocolate chips, but that may just be me! These are delicious!! A super quick alternative to chocolate chip cookies. Red Velvet Cheesecake Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes for work and barely got them out of the house as the kids and hubby tried to eat them all first!  Really a great cupcake. I used a bag to “pipe” in the cheesecake center and it made a great cheesecake core.  The cheesecake did fall in the center as they cooled but I made up for that with a little extra frosting! I was worried about my batter a bit, but they are moist and fluffy and taste spectacular. I made 53 cupcakes for a church event and only 3 are left- and that’s only because I kept those for myself and my son! I’ll be making them again! They are the BEST cupcake recipe I’ve ever found. Super impressive, decadent, and I didn’t even mess them up. They cupcakes are gorgeous! Apple Crumble Pie

I’m a huge fan of Dutch apple pies. Love me some crumbles. Seriously. I made this bad boy about two weeks ago. I was out of walnuts and did not want to go to the store/madhouse. I rifled through my pantry and found some hazelnuts in there, so I decided to give em a try. They were super yummy on this pie. Needless to say, shortly after making it, there was nothing left. Keep coming up with new stuff. I will keep making it.  It was amazing! Mouth watering!! I also made them as individual pies in a bun tray and they worked very well too. ! I made this with pink lady and granny smith apples and used anjou pears as well. Fantastic recipe  It was delicious. I usually lattice my apple pies, but now that seems silly. I made these with chopped strawberries and they were a big hit! Every one loved them (I have 3 kids). I finally found a breakfast cookie they will eat!!!!! I love fruit and chocolate together in cookies! It’s a combo that is not done enough. The colors and textures contrast so beautifully! These cookies are absolutely irresistible! These candy cane cookies are so perfectly done and pretty! These are the best Christmas inspired cookies I have seen. These baked into a beautiful and lovely cookie. It may have been my peppermint extract, but using the amount in the recipe was too much for me. But it was nothing a little chocolate couldn’t fix. I dipped the bottoms in chocolate and it was a great combo. Super cute cookie idea. Pistachios are my favorite nut, ever since I was a little girl. My Grandpa used to get them at Christmas time, they used to be dyed red back them and by the time we were done eating them we’d all have red fingers. And it wouldn’t wash off. Healthy Blueberry Muffins

Can you smell this? Follow your nose to this recipe! I made these this morning and they were delicious! Oh my gosh these are so good. Made the first batch with the only change some added cinnamon to the sugar topping. Second batch that just came out of the oven I added the cinnamon to the dry ingredients and a bit of lemon zest just to change it up since I am making them a second time two days later.  This recipe will be my new go to blueberry muffin recipe. I was so hoping it would be good with the whole wheat flour and oatmeal being healthy additions.  Third time I will try reducing the sugar to 3/4 cup and see how that goes.Oh and I reserved a bit of the flour/oatmeal mixture to mix with the frozen blueberries. That way they don’t colour the batter. They are so hearty and filling, I am sure they would make a wonderful breakfast to-go. I am bringing them in to work tomorrow for a meeting because I felt like we needed a healthier alternative to donuts, haha. These were wonderful. Perf
